A KPMG-qualified chartered accountant, Werner established and sold a niche consulting business to PwC that resulted in him leading the PwC Africa Financial Services Advisory practice until 2014. True to his entrepreneurial nature, Werner then established DigiBlu with a few like-minded individuals providing consulting services to financial institutions. WeBenefit was born out of the desire to establish an innovative business that could make a significant positive impact in education in South Africa.
Kurt has spent the last ten years leading consulting businesses across Africa for PwC and Deloitte where he helped clients execute transformational change across their organisations. Kurt is passionate about South Africa and has decided to apply his experience to make a difference to his country. Years of slow economic growth have made it ever harder to build a vibrant, healthy, nurturing and balanced society in South Africa. So, with Steve and Werner, Kurt is growing a business that has, as its only goal: assisting those care-based institutions that have the largest impact on the wellbeing of our families, communities and our country.
Steve has sixteen years experience in leading transformational change, almost exclusively in financial services, in the UK and SA, both in line roles and as a management consultant. Steve is a Sandhurst and Staff College trained former officer in the British Parachute Regiment and has an Honours degree in International Politics and a Masters degree in the Design of Information Systems. He is a keen white-collar boxer and owns the renowned Armoury Boxing Club in Cape Town.
