WeBenefit exists to help NPOs SAVE MONEY and RAISE MONEY

How will you benefit:

We are not a loyalty program; we are a profit-share business. And we share more than we keep!

  • Fund-Raising: Receive contributions from your members and supporters who buy through the WeBenefit online store or procure through WeBenefit Procure.
  • Savings: Reduce your overheads (our target for you is a reduction of 15%) when you procure products and solutions such as your stationery, on-site print solutions, solar, wifi infrastructure, LED lighting, appliances, specialised printing, cleaning products, office furniture, travel and bulk dry food through WeBenefit Procure.
  • Support your Staff: In recognition of the work that your teams do, we give your staff members access to special pricing in the WeBenefit online store.
  • Fee Support: If your NPO has monthly fees (such as a care home or old age home); where relevant your members and supporters can nominate to have half of their profit contribution from each transaction go towards their fees. Please note that this can only be implemented if your NPO is registered with WeBenefit.

Who qualifies:

  • Non-profit organisations (NPOs) who are registered and in good standing with the South African NPO Directorate.
  • NPOs who work in the areas of education, care-giving, welfare and community upliftment.

What is expected from you:

  • You need to keep your NPO registration current with the required documentation submitted to the NPO directorate every year.
  • You need to provide receipts for contributions received via WeBenefit.
  • You need to allocate fee contributions to your members and supporters where relevant.
  • Either issue, or consent to WeBenefit issuing, 18A tax donation certificates on your behalf if they are requested by donors.
  • Encourage your members and supporters to raise funds for you by shopping and procuring through WeBenefit. We will provide communication material for you to use if required.
